I feel like you don’t see a lot of coverage of the small ones, but these peaceful protests are everywhere. This one rolled along Wilshire Blvd yesterday, everyone on the sidewalks and in their cars was cheering and honking along. Seeing the people in this city come together like this has been insanely powerful and gives me a little hope that we can actually make the changes that need to be made. We can’t give up.
One thing that draws me to modular is the infinite possibilities in how you build your rig. The rack can be a complete orchestra or a single instrument, and you can change it from one to the other with just a few small changes. Sometimes all of these choices can get overwhelming, but with a bit of shuffling things around, you can break out of old habits and start discovering new ways of working and thinking. It is, in so many ways, a kind of self-therapy, a way to pull yourself away from everything else and refocus.
